14 August 2007 11:05 PM. Rainbow Bridge (La Conner)
1 mature female NG; Ken Boyle and I went to the La Conner Bridge specifically to look for NG! I had been there once before, for about 10 minutes. About 30 minutes into our posting a NG cut across the water-way, and dropped into the retirement community of Shelter Bay. EOB= about 150-200 feet. OT= 1 minute. The bird was flapping (with deep wing beats), and was gliding.
