Insights of nesting Goshawks

10 July 2006; Fidalgo Bay RV Resort is at the base of a ridge line- which is a continuation of Scimitar Ridge. This area is north of and down hill from Pioneer Trails RV Park (my residence). As an aside- my insights relating to the absence of NG during the nesting season, and then the re- appearance after fledging, were from my insights of 13 years ago, in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I mean- it is logical to assume both male and female (adult nester's) will stay as close to the nesting area as possible. At least that is my observations relating to NG. Yet, I have never seen a NG nest!
